Dr. Beebe, a Michigan native and 1977 graduate of Michigan State University, has practiced in Connecticut his entire career. After brief stays in Norwalk and Clinton, Dr. Beebe owned two small animal practices in Litchfield and Thomaston, CT. from 1981 to 2002.Then from 2002 until 2008 he practiced predominantly emergency medicine at several emergency clinics around the State of Connecticut.
Dr. Beebe has owned Goodfriends Veterinary Clinic since 2008. He is doing what he loves most; being in his own practice, helping families enjoy the longest, healthiest relationships possible with their pets.
His medical interests include all areas of small animal medicine. Internal medicine, endocrinology, dermatology and surgery are of special concern.
“After more than 30 years of practice I still get excited about learning and seeing new things. From technologies that computers and the internet offer us to incorporating new drug therapies in our practice, I never grow tired of exploring the exciting medical options that we can offer pet owners.”
Mark and his wife, Mary Warner, reside in New Haven (no…the commute is not that bad) with their two daughters. They share their home with their kitty, “Mr. Whoopie”, the escape artist, and “Lily”, a French Bulldog.
In his free time, Dr. Beebe likes to spend time with his family. School events with his daughters, playing golf, traveling and following his beloved Michigan State Spartans… and his childhood team, the Detroit Tigers (he likes the Red Sox…some), are his passions.
